I remember when I realized, not just in knowledge but in life, that communication truly is key to relationships. I was doing that all wrong. Many people do because we tend to think interpersonal communication is a natural process, requiring little effort or training. However, communication is not just talking. It's a critical skill to be developed.
I also remember when I realized I had a knack for improving a relationship I wanted to maintain. I first realized this in the workplace.
With over 72,000 participants under my belt in numerous leadership and life skills trainings, guess what. At first, I had to become my own student! I was amazed at how just simple things could turn a conversation upside down and how simple shifts can turn things around.
Communication, and conflict resolution, became amongst my favorite things to teach. I wanted everyone to make these changes so that their relationships could benefit, marriages could remain intact and organizations could improve their processes and productivity. I love it when the lightbulb goes off in the heads of my clients or class participants!
But HOME truly must come first. The relationships at home set the stage for what happens outside of the home.
Now, I want to help you discover how you can become the catalyst for change in your personal and professional relationships!
